Gadegal Homestay Narkanda Video: Room, Views and Problems

This video records my overnight stop at Gadegal Homestay while returning home from Kaza. The property sits between Narkanda and Theog, surrounded by apple orchards and a wide valley view. The setting looked excellent. My stay did not.

What the video shows

I filmed the steep approach, parking area, duplex wooden room, loft bed, balcony and the view towards the valley. I also explain why the room and service changed my opinion of the stay. The cottage had enough space for three people, warm wooden interiors and heated bedding, but the linen and pillows did not feel properly maintained. We also found a large spider inside the room.

The short version

The scenery is the strongest reason to consider this place. The food was mixed, dinner took hours, and nobody was available around 8 am when we wanted tea and checkout help. I would not return unless the service, hygiene and room upkeep improve.
