Saturday lunch at home usually reaches a familiar point. Nobody wants to cook, everyone
is hungry, and the food-delivery apps start looking more interesting than the kitchen.
That is how I ended up ordering from Grata, or Grata Wholesome Indulgence, for the
first time.

I had already tried Lexi’s Gourmet Sandwiches earlier. The sandwiches were decent,
but I found that order expensive, the delivery took around 40 to 45 minutes, and
the food had become cold by the time it reached me. Grata looked like a similar
gourmet sandwich option at a lower bill, so I ordered two vegetarian sandwiches
and decided to compare the experience honestly.

The two sandwiches cost me about ₹600 in total through Swiggy at the time of this
order. Both arrived fresh enough to enjoy, the packaging was clean, and neither
sandwich was aggressively spicy. My quick verdict is that Grata is worth considering
when you want a filling vegetarian sandwich at home and do not feel like cooking.
It is not everyday budget food, and the word “healthy” needs some context, but this
particular order worked well for me.

The Grata order arrived in a neat paper delivery bag with tissues and ketchup.

## What I ordered from Grata Gurgaon

I ordered two vegetarian options: the Pesto Cottage Cheese Sandwich and the Crispy
Cottage Cheese Sandwich. The names are similar enough that they can blur together
while ordering, but the flavour direction was different. Both used cottage cheese
as the main filling, and both came in the long, sub-style format shown in the video.

The menu displayed nutritional information when I ordered. I remember the protein
figure being roughly 20 to 25 grams for each sandwich. Treat that as the listing
shown during my order, not an independent laboratory measurement. Recipes, serving
sizes and app listings can change. Grata’s current menu should be checked if exact
macros matter to you.

Grata’s current official and delivery listings describe a broader menu of sandwiches,
bagels, bakes and coffee. The official website now identifies a seated bakehouse
and café at DLF Galleria, while delivery listings also show Gurgaon service locations.
My experience in this review was delivery only. I did not visit the café, inspect
its seating or interact with its dine-in staff, so I am not turning second-hand
information into a personal café review.

## The packaging made a good first impression

The order came in a branded paper bag rather than layers of unnecessary plastic.
Inside were the sandwich boxes, tissues and ketchup sachets. Everything looked clean
and properly arranged. Nothing had leaked or been crushed on the way.

Packaging is not the reason to reorder food, of course. A beautiful box cannot rescue
a stale sandwich. It still matters for delivery because a long sandwich can become
a messy pile if the box is weak or the filling shifts. Grata passed that basic test.
The bread and filling reached me in recognisable shape, and I could pick up the
sandwich without rebuilding it first.

The bag also created a slightly premium first impression without feeling absurdly
elaborate. That suits the product. Grata is not trying to be a roadside ₹60 sandwich,
and the presentation makes that clear before the first bite.

## Crispy Cottage Cheese Sandwich taste test

I tried the Crispy Cottage Cheese Sandwich first. The bread felt soft, and the cottage-
cheese patty gave the sandwich enough substance to work as lunch rather than a small
snack. The filling tasted fresh and was not too spicy. That last part mattered because
heavily spiced sauces can hide the actual condition of the bread and paneer.

It was easy to eat and immediately likeable. I would not describe it as a complicated
flavour experience, but I do not need every home-delivery lunch to become one. Sometimes
soft bread, a warm paneer filling and a balanced sauce are enough.

The “crispy” part did not dominate my reaction as much as the freshness did. Delivery
naturally softens fried or toasted components, so anyone expecting restaurant-level
crunch should keep that limitation in mind. What reached me was still enjoyable
and did not feel greasy or stale.

## How the Pesto Cottage Cheese Sandwich tasted

The Pesto Cottage Cheese Sandwich was the second one I tried. The paneer filling
was visible in the centre, and the pesto gave it a different character from the
crispy version. It also tasted good without becoming overly spicy.

Grata’s current menu description lists cottage cheese, tomato, lettuce, pesto and
cheese for this sandwich, with a choice of bread. That description is useful for
understanding the intended build, but my opinion comes from the sandwich that actually
arrived. It tasted fresh, had enough filling, and made sense as the slightly more
herb-led option of the two.

If I had to choose between them purely from this order, the decision would depend
on mood. The crispy version felt more familiar and comforting. The pesto sandwich
tasted a little lighter in direction, even though pesto, cheese and bread still
make it a substantial meal. I liked both. Neither produced the kind of dramatic
difference that would make the other one unnecessary.

## Was this really a healthy sandwich?

I used the word healthy in the video because I was looking at the listed protein
and comparing the meal with some heavier delivery choices. That does not turn a
restaurant sandwich into a medical recommendation. Bread, cheese, spreads, pesto
and a cooked paneer patty can add a meaningful amount of calories, fat and sodium
even when the sandwich contains protein and vegetables.

A more accurate description is convenient, filling and relatively protein-forward
for a vegetarian delivery lunch. Whether it fits your diet depends on the bread,
sauces, portion size and what else you eat that day. If you track nutrition closely,
use the restaurant’s current item-level information and your own dietary needs rather
than relying on the general label “healthy.”

For me, it worked as a lazy Saturday lunch. I could put on a film or a Netflix show,
eat something that felt fresher than typical fast food, and avoid cooking. That
is the practical use case I would attach to it.

## Grata price and value from my order

My total for the two sandwiches was approximately ₹600. That was the amount shown
for this specific Swiggy order, after whatever menu pricing and app conditions applied
at the time. Delivery fees, taxes, offers and item prices can change, so your checkout
total may be different.

At roughly ₹300 per sandwich in my order, I found the value reasonable for the size,
clean packaging and condition on arrival. It was significantly easier to accept
than my earlier Lexi’s experience, where the cost felt much higher and the sandwiches
arrived cold after a longer wait.

Current public listings may show higher menu prices than I paid. That does not mean
either figure is wrong. Restaurant prices change, app discounts vary by customer,
and delivery charges depend on distance. Use my ₹600 total as a record of my experience,
then check the live cart before ordering.

## Grata versus Lexi’s Gourmet Sandwiches

This is a comparison between two orders I personally received, not a permanent declaration
that one business is always better. My Lexi’s order took around 40 to 45 minutes
and arrived cold. I also felt the price was high for that experience. Grata delivered
more quickly on this occasion, and the sandwiches were still in good condition.

Grata therefore won this round on value and delivery execution. The two sandwiches
together cost me about ₹600, the bread felt soft, and the paneer fillings tasted
fresh. Lexi’s may have different sandwiches, portion sizes and delivery conditions,
so a direct menu-wide comparison would require several matched orders. I have not
done that.

If your decision is based on one practical question, “Which order would I repeat
after these two experiences?”, I would choose Grata. If you live far from its kitchen,
your delivery time could be different from mine. Distance can change a sandwich
more than branding does.

## What worked and what did not

The strongest part of the order was consistency. Both sandwiches arrived cleanly
packed, the bread stayed soft, the fillings seemed fresh, and the flavour level
was easy to enjoy. Delivery was quick enough that the food had not turned cold.
The protein information on the listing also helped me compare options before ordering.

The main reservation is price. Even at my approximately ₹600 total, this is an occasional
delivery lunch rather than a cheap neighbourhood sandwich. Current listed prices
may make the bill higher. I would also avoid presenting the sandwiches as automatically
healthy simply because paneer and a protein number appear in the description.

Another limitation is that I tried only two vegetarian cottage-cheese sandwiches.
I cannot judge Grata’s chicken sandwiches, coffee, scrolls, desserts, dine-in service
or entire menu from this order. This review is intentionally narrow because that
is the evidence I have.

## A bonus evening stop for kunafa in Sector 56

The day did not end with sandwiches. Later, we went out with Aryan and stopped at
a small dessert cart in Gurgaon Sector 56 called Kenafe House of Desserts. This
was a bonus part of the video, not part of the Grata order.

The cart was behind the well-known jalebi shop in the Sector 56 market area during
our visit. Locations and operating arrangements for small food carts can change,
so use the current map listing or the business’s social page before making a special
trip.

## Trying pistachio cream kunafa with ice cream

I ordered the pistachio cream kunafa with ice cream. This was my first proper kunafa
taste test, so I was not comparing it with years of experience. The top and pastry
strands felt crisp, while the pistachio cream introduced a flavour that reminded
me slightly of a waffle topping.

My first confused comparison was with ghevar, then it became obvious that the texture
came from thin pastry strands rather than the structure of ghevar. The ice cream
and pistachio cream made the serving properly sweet. People who actively enjoy desserts
may like that richness. Anyone who does not enjoy very sweet food can skip it without
feeling that they missed an essential Gurgaon experience.

The serving cost ₹250 during my visit and was easily enough for two or three people
to taste. For one person, I thought it was too much sweetness and too large a portion.
Shared between a small group during a market walk, it made more sense.

The ₹250 pistachio cream kunafa with ice cream was large enough for sharing.

## Should you order from Grata?

Yes, if you want a vegetarian gourmet sandwich delivered in Gurgaon and are comfortable
paying more than a basic café or street-side sandwich. The Pesto Cottage Cheese
and Crispy Cottage Cheese sandwiches both tasted fresh, arrived in good condition
and made a filling lunch for us.

I would not order on the strength of a protein number alone, and I would check the
current final price before paying. With those qualifications, Grata gave me a better
experience than my previous Lexi’s order. Quick delivery was a large part of that
result.

The Kenafe stop belongs in a different category. It is a once-in-a-while sweet treat,
best shared and easier to recommend to someone with a serious sweet tooth. The two
experiences happened on the same day, but they solve very different cravings.

My final take is simple. Grata delivered two fresh, enjoyable vegetarian sandwiches
at a price I could justify for an occasional lunch. Kenafe gave us a fun shared
dessert later that evening, although it was sweeter than I would want regularly.
One is a practical home-order recommendation. The other is a market-walk experiment
for people who genuinely enjoy dessert. For another Gurgaon food experience, read
