Carnatic Cafe HQ27 Video Tour: Family Visit
Quick take: This Carnatic Cafe HQ27 video tour follows our Sunday family visit to the newer Gurgaon outlet near Galleria Market. The food was decent and pocket-friendly, but the dining room was much noisier and more crowded than we expected.
We chose HQ27 because an earlier visit to the 32nd Avenue branch had involved a wait, and I thought the newer outlet might be calmer. The common areas at HQ27 were clean and pleasant, with cafes, bakeries and space to walk outside. Inside Carnatic Cafe, however, the Sunday rush was in full force. The room felt warm, conversations overlapped, and Aryan appeared uncomfortable with the noise.
Our table included paddu with chutneys and sambar, rava masala dosa, filter coffee and kesari bhat. I was following a diet plan, so I mostly tasted. My honest overall verdict was that the South Indian food was decent and the pricing felt approachable. The setting, rather than the food, was the weaker part of this particular visit.
